Lay Down - Live at The Saxon Pub
written by Parker Bradley
Parker Bradley has achieved the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a Texas musician: He’s opened for Willie Nelson.
Granted, this was a while ago, when Bradley was a guitarist in a college jam band, but the fact remains that Willie saw something in the young musician.

In the more than 20 years since, Bradley has matured into a singer-songwriter who chisels away at his craft in the studio and on stages at venues throughout Austin. His eternal pursuit of folk and Americana perfection is informed by merging the classic sounds of Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler with newer acts like Jason Isbell and Gregory Alan Isakov.

Parker will release his first full length album, "Certain Days", in April of 2024. Recorded in just three days at The Zone Recording Studios in Dripping Springs, TX. Veteran musician Pat Mankse produced the album with
an experienced cast of players, Brett Danaher on Guitars, Matt Slagle on Bass, Sean Giddings on Keyboards and Tripp Wiggins on Drums. The title track "Certain Days" features renowned session guitarist, David Grissom, on Electric, Slide and Baritone guitars. Parker was fortunate to have the legendary Lloyd Maines play pedal steel on three songs.

Certain Days is an Americana album that touches on several styles and genres from Parker's diverse cycle of songs. "Some of these songs are pretty old, but really came alive in these sessions. Songs like, "Lay Down", "Flatness of Kansas" and "Last of the Summer Wine" have been around awhile, but seem like new songs to me now."

Certain Days will be released on April 1st on all streaming platforms.
